# On my Mac, why Alpha Desktop does not install after an update?

You need to quit the app after you clicked on Install now. Alpha Desktop will open itself with the new version.

# Why on Windows, the app icon is shining with a green color?

This means a new version of Alpha Desktop is being downloaded.

# Why have I been logged out?

For safety reasons, your session will expire after about 7 days if you have not been disconnected during this period of time. You need to log in again.

# What should I do if Alpha Desktop is loading in loop?

Use the reload shortcut. If it still does not work, then submit a feedback by describing everything you can.

# What the nightly suffix atE the bottom of the app means?

Some of our dear colleagues at the company has a nightly version of Alpha Desktop. That means they are running a version which is not stable as they test new features in advance.

# How to change my time zone ?

If you want to change your time zone, you will need to update your time zone in the preferences menu on the Web App. Then you will have to sign out and sign in back on Alpha Desktop.

# I forgot to check-out and my previous day is still displayed?

Just check-out and check-in again. Your current work time will move to the previous days. Then don't forget to edit your check-out.
